Amelia first started riding at the age of 2 and competed in local shows doing lead rein showing on her pony Hamish. Hamish was 11hh and skewbald, he certainly had a cheeky attitude. At the age of 6 I joined the pony club on her second pony Percy. I competed Percy at local shows in lead rein mounted games (musical ride, sack race, potato race etc...) he may have also done the odd rally.

Then I had 2 years with the amazing tilly who took me from 50cm to 90cm and to the pony jumping championships at bishop burton. Tilly was then sold in December 2013. In March 2014 I first started jumping bsja. I was jumping Toddy (Tocas hot chocolate) and Wilma (Wilma Flinststone)

By May I’d qualified stepping stones on Toddy for Scope 2014. In june we bought Chester (Chester hwyl surprise) my chestnut 138 pony. He jumped his first show at bishopton and got double clear in the British novice. August 2014 Scope this was my first scope and id qualified for one class the stepping stones. We were placed 24th on the first day and 17th on the second day just missing out on reaching the finals. Chester got his 4 double clears for British novice in October and Toddy had his 2 springboards for the final.

Up until the end of April 2015 Chester and Toddy where jumping stepping stones and had both got 2 for scope and 4 for nationals, Chester also had his 90cm novice masters for scope as well. In june Chester had his British novice second rounds at Richmond and Northcote stud. We reached the second round and both places but where unlucky to have a couple of faults he jumped ace though. In July we had a letter through saying toddy had qualified for the bronze league final as well.

Summers round again and now its championship time. Nationals 2015 was first toddy had 2 classes the bronze league and stepping stones and Chester just the 138 stepping stones. On the first day Toddy jumped the stepping stones double clear and we were 14th just out of the top 10. Chester had got heatstroke so we didn’t jump him for the rest of the week. On day 2 Toddy jumped double clear in the stepping stones and was 12th. In the bronze league we were 9th with just 4 faults which i was very happy about anyway. It turned out that i qualified for the stepping stones final as well because 2 of the people had already qualified. So on the 3rd day i had the stepping stones final in the main arena, Toddy jumped double clear but jut wasn't fast enough so we finished 9th in that as well. Nationals was the best show of 2015!

Scope 2015 Chester in the 138 and Toddy in the 128 stepping stones. on day 1 in the main arena toddy was double clear and 23rd and Chester got eliminated at the fence jumping right towards this fountain that was spraying water everywhere. Day 2 outside and toddy jumped double clear and 28th. Chester jumped a fantastic clear just to be to slow and be 22nd but overall they both jumped well.

over the period of june and july chester secured his 4 double clears for britsh novice second rounds 2016. Toddy competed at pony racing and we had another addition to the family Blackie (Emperor Nero). 138 and i started riding my brothers pony boyo (boyles buty boy)
